Zea Montfort makes history with 10th-place finish at Junior World Championships

Zea Montfort has made history for Maltese artistic swimming after finishing an impressive 10th place in the Women’s Solo Technical event at the Junior World Championships.

Montfort competed against athletes representing 27 countries, securing a top-10 finish in a highly competitive international field.

The result marks another significant milestone for Maltese artistic swimming and underlines the progress being made at junior level.

Montfort’s performance came under the guidance of National Team Head Coach Michelle Hubner and Assistant Coach Hannah Preca Trapani, who have supported her preparation and development.

Her participation at the championships was also made possible through financial assistance provided by SportMalta.

The 10th-place finish represents one of the strongest international results achieved by a Maltese artistic swimmer at junior level and provides further encouragement for the continued development of the sport in Malta.
