Yorgen Fenech admitted paying Melvin Theuma for brokerage services to murder Daphne Caruana Galizia

More astounding revelations continued today in Court during Yorgen Fenech’s trial where as the recordings of his very self-incriminating interrogation with the Police were played in Court.

Basically, Yorgen Fenech admitted to paying Melvin Theuma for his brokerage services to murder Daphne Caruana Galizia. However, according to his version of events, he paid Melvin Theuma โ‚ฌ50,000ย  after Melvin Theuma had to pay โ‚ฌ30,000 to the Degiorgio brothers for her murder, which was concocted by Keith Schembri. Yorgen Fenech told Melvin Theuma that this payment was only for Melvin Theuma’s troubles and not for the murder of Daphne and that he didn’t want to have anything to do with the murder.

Yesterday, it was also revealed that Yorgen Fenech had admitted to paying money to Degiorgios as they blackmailed him, effectively ended up paying for their legal defence.

Basically, Yorgen Fenech is saying that Keith Schembri and Melvin Theuma are framing him. Yorgen Fenech said many other things in his version of events, such as that Keith Schembri paid him โ‚ฌ80,000 for the murder, and that he met Joseph Muscat and Keith Schembri in Castille in February 2019 – this version of events has been denied by both Keith Schembri and Joseph Muscat. There also seems to be no evidence about this meeting in Castille.

Somehow, Yorgen Fenech is saying that he was victim of an organised criminal group and he ended up in the middle of all of it because he was dragged into it as a scapegoat.

U kieku ma kienx ghal Melvin dan d delitt qatt ma kien isehh. Hasra li ma wehel xejn dan ta l ahhar! Kixef ghax beza ghal giehu w mhux ghax hass rimors ghal vittma! Min jafu jaf xi kriminal kien!
