Yorgen Fenech keeps admitting that he paid for the murder of a journalist

After it was revealed in Court that Yorgen Fenech admitted to paying for the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia during his police interrogation, yesterday in Court, Yorgen Fenech kept making the same admission. He admitted this after he gave another admission about Keith Schembri sending him a magisterial decree about 17 Black before it was published.

Yorgen Fenech has had no defence regarding his payment to Melvin Theuma other than claiming that he wanted to ensure that Melvin Theuma did not go out of pocket and that he was afraid of the Degiorgios. As the Prosecutor rightly pointed out, throughout the entire process of planning, commissioning and executing the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia, Yorgen Fenech never pulled out of the operation, nor did he object to it.

The Prosecutor has a very solid case against Yorgen Fenech, and this is mainly due to his own repeated admissions, which are also backed by a wide range of documentary evidence that explains Yorgen Fenech’s actions and behaviour.
