Protest for Daphne followed by wave of online misogyny

A wave of online misogyny and abuse has followed last Wednesday’s protest for Daphne Caruana Galizia in Valletta. Labour Party supporters, who have been thought to hate Daphne Caruana Galizia over the years, reacted to the news and imagery of the protests with online abuse and misogyny.

Comments even included men telling women they wished they were raped, including a comment aimed at ADPD – Green Party leader Sandra Gauci.

Comments like these are made on a regular basis by Labour Party supporters as can be viewed below.

    Education has gone to the dogs! Some people are incapable of reason, they just spew malice, mediorcity at it’s best.
