At the Independence Day celebrations by the Nationalist Party on the Granaries in Floriana, Opposition Leader Alex Borg made a very strong statement in support of journalists.
He said that the work of journalists is very important. Despite having articles that criticise him and articles published that he disagrees with, he always respects the work of journalists and will strongly defend their rights even when they attack him.
