On the margins of the United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Robert Abela spoked at an event for Ukraine called Sixth Summit of the International Crimea Platform where he reiterated Malta’s foreign policy of recognising Crimea as Ukrainian territory.
During the conference, the Prime Minister also spoke briefly with the President of Montengro Jakov Milatović.
Separately, Foreign Minister Chris Fearne held a bilateral meeting with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
There were no other bilateral engagements.
