Fraud is now OK at the University a long as you are Vincent Marmara

It is remarkable how the University of Malta has stooped so low that Vincent Marmara has been left unscathed despite his very deceptive and fraudulent behaviour in posing as a different company to conduct a survey on Yorgen Fenech on behalf of his defence team.

This very irregular and willingly committed infraction is apparently acceptable under the academic standards of the University of Malta. Despite calls for an investigation into Vince Marmara by fellow academics, no investigation has been started and Vince Marmara remains unscathed.

The squalid fraudster is still giving his pseudo-intellectual takes on “the state of the nation” on social media. He also still seems to be offering services to the Presidency.

Vince Marmara is one of the Labour government’s favourite intellectuals and one of the highest-paid academics in Malta owing to the barrage of public contracts that Labour awards him year after year.

The legacy of Labour’s intellectual contribution under Robert Abela’s tenure as Prime Minister is a pipsqueak who does electoral surveys and who also provided a service to the mastermind in the murder of a journalist in his bid for freedom.

As for the University of Malta, the current pro-Labour Party rector truly has no shame or standards. The University was already deeply mired in nepotism and petty-political corruption before Frank Bezzina arrived; now it is straight-up accepting fraud and illicit behaviour.

What a truly total mess.

The “jokers” opportunists (you all know who you are!!) have at this point taken over. The once prestigious UOM, has slowly become yet another dysfunctional institution, just draining public funds away to pay undeserved salaries
