Quite soon, unemployable Labour Party politicians may be exploiting criminal incidents to posture on raising awareness about domestic violence.
Underneath all the posturing, this is a reality that is ongoing right now.
Nazzareno Dalli, featured here yesterday, also known as Ronald Il-Muga or Muġa, stabbed his former partner’s two daughters on 9 March 2024 at a residence in Triq San Tumas, Marsa. The girls were aged 12 and 15. The younger girl was stabbed 16 times, while the older girl suffered knife injuries but managed to escape onto the roof. On 4th December 2024, he was released on bail.
Since then, he has posted a lot about his life on social media. He no longer seems to be living with the partner he stabbed, but he seems to have had multiple relationships since then and has also been in the company of children.
It’s bizarre how the Courts have allowed this man to go out on bail after stabbing two young girls, and is still allowed to enjoy access to some of his children. It is unclear whether any of the children featured here are the same ones who have been stabbed.
While out on bail, Nazzareno Dalli was once again charged over domestic violence with another woman.
This is an ongoing reality and this is the awareness that needs to be spread: the Justice system is dysfunctional and dangerous people live among us.
