   Is that the Freemason’s Lodge that David Gatt is reputed to be the Queen Bee?

      Pseudo freemason?s lodge please. The Grand Lodge is a pariah organisation recognised by no masonic organisation in the world, apart from some other pariah organisations. They can wear all the regalia they like, but they ain?t freemasons! This is a bit like reenactors and the military. You can wear a uniform, wave a gun around, but it doesn?t make you a soldier! And yes, this organisation is full of rent seekers, and they don?t want to be under the control of the Sovereign Grand Lodge, because they do nothing except network, which regular freemasons don?t.

         So, if it is a paraih organisation shouldn’t it be in your organisation’s interest to expose them? Why doesn’t anyone come forward?

         Do you expect SGLOM to take out adverts in newspapers? SGLOM has no control over what these people do, so what else can be done? GLOM?s irregularity is a documented fact for anyone who cares to check. And as far as I recollect, the SGLOM Grand Master has already mentioned them, and their irregularity in his interview with The Times of Malta. ? But I can only speak for our group of regular freemasons. We are not the only freemasons in Malta. I will not discuss the others and cannot speak for them because we don?t hang out with them but I want people to know that we are not one group?. As the good man says, we don?t hang out with them, and we cannot speak for them.

         Also ? There are other freemasonry lodges operating locally, he said, but, apart from those, it appears there are other people who might have formed illicit groups that are only freemasons by name and exploit the masonic principles of brotherhood and secrecy to drive their personal and business self-serving agendas.?

   Real power and authority lies in the hands of the Business cabal that actually rules Malta. These eventually took over from the Church the nobles and aristocrats. Intially they were small family run businesses. As the political scene in Malta evolved they quickly learnt to adapt and use political connections to gain the upper hand over rivals. Intially they used political connections but as the political scene evovled into two leading main stream parties they learnt how to control and dominate both parties. Labour was a bit harder to control due to the dominance of Dom Mintoff who had a knack of using his authority over local businesses to increase and improve tourisim and the local industrial scene still in its infancy. Airmalta is a typical example. But Dom Mintoff was not maleable.
   Under both labour and the nationalist, new kids on the block started to make their fortunes. Cases in point are the Polidano, Xuereb, Fenech, Schembri and Vassallo empires. Political connections expedited their rise into power houses which noone could ignore. The introduction of VAT and more stringent tax regimes provided the cabal with further opportunities to increase their profits. It is evident that Labour is now also dominated by the cabal. It no longer belongs to the workers or the down troden. When it suits the cabal they will abandon Labour and relegate them to the opposition benches just like they did to the Nationalists when they lost their popularity and were no longer required. In the meantime the cabal through Keith Schembri groomed their own new kid on the block and installed him in castille. So as the writing gets clearer on the wall and labour has commenced to lose its hold over the electorate we can now brace ourselves for a frenzy of feeding and hogging from the national trough before Labour eventually loses the goverment.

   The Malta Labour Party and its ideals have been lost forever.
