Capitulation

The press is finally getting the news that France and Germany want Ukraine to capitulate. Naturally, Ukraine does not want to capitulate and it intends to keep fighting until it restores all its original borders.

Leading a major European country is undoubtedly a significant challenge, especially when trying to juggle local interests, politics, and foreign policy simultaneously. Previously, there was a time when European politics was all about EU issues, energy transition, growing the economy, and this kind of very senile and harmless stuff. However, leading a major European country when challenged by wars around you, global climate catastrophes, constant immigration crises, energy crises, inflation, and much more, is even harder and it takes a great deal of resilience and mental strength to wade through it all.

Olaf Scholz and Emmanuel Macron never had it. They had been accustomed to playing easy and conventional political games with substantial backing and support. As soon as Russia invaded Ukraine, they immediately gave away their policy stance which was to predetermine their relationship with Russia and Ukraine throughout the ongoing war and this position was capitulation. Thankfully, the US pushed its allies to have a different perspective of the war and were eventually, more eager to donate weapons, but Germany and France want to stop there: they don’t want to give Ukraine the weapons it needs to win the war but only to defend its current borders.

The NBC News article confirms that there are no other peace discussions ongoing apart from the Ukraine Peace Formula summits. These summits are not actual peace negotiations but only a detailed list of conditions and points that Ukraine is demanding upon recovering its borders and winning the war and they include security guarantees, security for nuclear power plants, and other conditions. The NBC News article also confirms that France and Germany do not want Ukraine to join NATO after the war, giving it instead puerile “security guarantees” that supposedly will stop Russia from invading again.

Russia is in the middle of an ongoing financial and monetary crisis and it is unable to sustain a massive war effort. Given more pressure, economic sanctions, and attrition, Russia will eventually face the greatest economic crisis in its history leading it to lose the war. If Europe stops the economic pressure on Russia now, it would be capitulating from a war that it is winning. In addition, given the weapons it needs, Ukraine can win the war swiftly, but clearly, Germany and France are siding with Russia at this stage. As Germany and France are conceding territorial gains to Russia, this is basically capitulation in its worst form and a massive blow to Europe’s global standing and security. Basically, France and Germany are capitulating at the intimidation of a power that is much weaker economically and militarily.

This is a total disaster for Europe and Macron and Scholz who prefer to live in a world where politics is easy, do not understand the extent of their grave error of judgment which will come back to haunt them in the future as Russia maintains and increases its bellicose imperialism at the expense of French and German capitulation.

Ironically, today, the Party of European Socialists has produced this propaganda banner. Europe in the lead? I don’t think so. More like Putin’s cucks.
