Labour MEP candidate Daniel Attard appeals to his supporters to defend Manuel Cuschieri against journalists and “members of the sect”

Labour MEP candidate Daniel Attard is debuting his political career with a diatribe against journalists. In defence of his loyal Labour Party propagandist Emanuel Cuschieri, Daniel Attard finds it unfair that journalists are offered protection by the state as they try and take over the country together with what he describes “as the sect”. It’s unclear to whom he is referring, but it’s most probably a reference to anti-government protesters.

He says he has experience with the United Nations and the European Union – whatever that means. He was actually Deputy High Commissioner of Malta’s High Commission in the United Kingdom, all the while he occupied the post of Mtarfa’s mayor. In fact, he used to lead Mtarfa’s council meetings online from his office at Malta’s High Commission.

Some of you may recall him holding an umbrella for his previous boss, Chris Cardona, as Cardona walked out of a cabinet meeting on that chaotic day of November 25th.
