WhatsApp can be an efficient means of communication for work and Magistrate Donatella Frendo Dimech does have close friends at work, as well. The colleagues who support her and who in the past used to communicate with each other in a Whatsapp group are Magistrate Monica Vella and Judge Consuelo Scerri Herrera. Magistrate Vella used to be a Labour mayor of Xewkija while Judge Scerri Herrera is the sister to previous Labour Minister Jose Herrera, ex-partner to Robert Musumeci and a known Labour Party supporter. Scerri Herrera used to be seen dining with Frendo Dimech and the latter even attended a VIP Labour Party festivity at Joseph Camenzuli’s farmhouse in Bir?ebbu?ia.
What’s interesting to me about this story is that political allegiances still condition the friendships of these Magistrates, even those at work.
