Turkey bombs civillian infrastructure in Kobani and northern Syria

Turkey is continuing its bombing campaign in northern Syria against Kurdish civilian infrastructure. These bombings started with a degree of intensity after the October 7th. In the past 24 hours, Turkey bombed a wheat plant, a power station, and a French-owned cement factory (Lafarge) in Kobani in the north of Syria. Firefighters taking out the fire at the cement factory were bombed in a tactic commonly used by Russia and the Syrian government who bomb rescue workers in the second bombing of the same site.

Kobani was a major focal point of the fighting by the Kurds against ISIS who staged a heroic resistance in the city that went on to defeat ISIS in the whole northern Syrian region.
