Today, Joseph Muscat lied to the public and said that Roberta Metsola had met with Benjamin Netanyahu who killed thousands of children.
This is a lie. Roberta Metsola is the President of the European Parliament and met with the Head of State, President Isaac Herzog. President Herzog is not responsible for the government and Roberta Metsola met him to show solidarity with innocent Israelis raped and killed during the Hamas October 7th attack. Metsola also met Palestinian families and representatives after Israel invaded Gaza.
One of the only Maltese politicians to have ever met Benjamin Netanyahu was in fact Joseph Muscat who met him very soon after he was elected as Prime Minister for the first time in 2013.
