Franco Debono, a criminal lawyer in Yorgen Fenech’s defense team for the murder case of Daphne Caruana Galizia, is now praising Nationalist Party leader Bernard Grech. Previously, he attacked Grech every time a survey showed he was performing poorly in the polls. With Bernard Grech making significant progress for the first time, Franco Debono is now showering him with praises and was never so eager to rejoin the Nationalist Party.
So far, Franco Debono’s political agenda includes attacking Daphne Caruana Galizia, thus using his political position for his professional interests, and secondly, to impose further restrictions on the press and free speech, primarily because he doesn’t like to be insulted. Naturally, he prefers the Alex Borg and Adrian Delia faction of the Nationalist Party, which seeks to emulate the Labour Party and together they can become a real and living example of a parody of the criminal lawyer turned Nationalist Party politician. Why do we need theatre if we have these three?
Before joining politics again, Franco Debono should explain to the public to what extent is he involved in defending Yorgen Fenech in court because that may shed more light on his real political intentions, apart from indulging in his regular and usual narcissism.
