Justine Scerri Herrera, the niece of former Justice Minister José Herrera works at the same law firm where David Meli previously worked for a number of years. David-Joseph Meli is the lawyer that represented Setward Health Care in Malta and is being accused of money-laundering and bribery. The law firm is a Cypriot law firm called Michael Kyprianou with offices in Malta and various other countries.
David Meli worked with Justine Scerri Herrera at Michael Kyprianou’s subsidiary MK Fintech, but he resigned from the law firm following charges filed against him in court.
