Clyde Caruana expressed these sentiments clearly with some of his colleagues and friends.

One of the main reasons why Clyde Caruana wants Edward Scicluna to resign is that we are currently being evaluated by Moneyval (Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism), and a report about Malta will be concluded by the end of the year. I will be working on this story later today.
