The curious case of the conflict of interest of Prosecutor Francesco Refalo is getting even more bizarre as the suspected individuals over the Vitals and Steward case begin to prepare their defense. Adrian Hillman, Keith Schembri’s buddy with whom they defrauded Progress Press, has just set up his defense team for the case, and his lawyers are Stefano Filletti and Mark Refalo of Refalo Advocates – a relative of the lead-Prosecutor on the case Francesco Refalo.
Basically, we will have relatives sparring in court over the most high-profile political case in our history, with Attorney General Victoria Buttigieg risking the entire case due to a simple and blatant conflict of interest.
