France has successfully upgraded and test-fired its new nuclear air-to-surface-missile Air-Sol Moyenne Portée (ASMP) from a Rafale fighter-jet. The missile has a range of up to 500 km and can fly at supersonic speeds of up to 3000 km per hour. The ASMP model was first launched into service in 1986 with a previous range of up to 300 km.
France’s nuclear drills come right after Russia has held nuclear drills in Belarus and inside Russia with the Ukrainian border.
