No fear in Europe over France election fracas

The Euro has held strong in this morning’s European session and so did the French stock market (CAC40) with both doing some gains which are now being shaved off after the American open. Both the Euro and the CAC40 are still above their Friday closing levels.

The Euro is at 0.23% higher than Friday’s close and the CAC40 is 1.43% higher.

There was no panic or any unusual selling at the European exchanges today, despite what looks like bad French election results.
