Every beginning has an end and Joseph Muscat’s stately power began and ended with Lynton Crosby.
Apart from having solicited Lynton Crosby and his pseudo-intelligence group to help him out in the 2013 general elections, Joseph Muscat also solicited Lynton Crosby in 2019 to help him out with his foreign-promotion exit plan. Joseph Muscat also roped in Lynton Crosby to help him get a position within the organisation of the Commonwealth as a back-up plan in case he failed to gain a top EU post.
Joseph Muscat was not only aware that Lynton Crosby and his company were conducting a smear campaign against Chris Fearne, but there is the obvious probability that he had introduced Lynton Crosby to Steward and that he participated and coordinated in the smear campaign himself. Last year, Robert Abela knew that Joseph Muscat was involved in a smear campaign against Chris Fearne.
Through his time in government Joseph Muscat surrounded himself with a number of foreign consultants and political hacks, and today he still makes use of some high-profile international lawyers. In March 2020 Joseph Muscat held a meeting in London with two lawyers from an international law firm that is known to defend corrupt politicians and war criminals.
