Unlike Ryan Spagnol, the previous CEO of Identity Malta, Anton Sevasta has been a trusted appartchik of Joseph Muscat’s inner circle from day 1, given that he is Keith Schembri’s friend. He, has much more to respond about current allegations of fraud at Identity Malta than Ryan Spagnol who was a simple functionary who actually reported irregularities both to the police and to his superiors.
Note, that the first time that the issue of fraud at Identity Malta was raised with regard to foreign residence permits was actually here with the story about Delsk. It is actually Joseph Muscat and the Chinese-owned company that he works for, Delsk, that are actually defrauding the Malta Permanent Residence Programme under fake residences. Identity Malta may have multiple rackets and dirty arrangements ongoing with its operations and pinning them on the anti-Muscat faction when Identity Malta was actually a fully controlled operation by Joseph Muscat’s network, is hilarious to say the least. In reality, it is deceiving and Joseph Muscat is successfully conducting a smear campaign against his opponents.
It is also interesting to note that the smear campaign against Ryan Spagnol has started as soon as the Chief of Staff, Mark Mallia, was appointed – he was previously, CEO at Identity Malta.
