People who know Edward Gatt intimately well have informed me that Edward Gatt was the author of the fake letter that attempted to pin the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia on Chris Cardona. The writing of the letter is also his own.
The letter had falsely claimed that Melvin Theuma pinned down the murder on Chris Cardona, who allegedly, paid a sum of money to commission the act. The letter was handed to Yorgen Fenech while in custody by his doctor Adrian Vella which was given to him by Keith Schembri.
Edward Gatt is Keith Schembri’s lawyer but also provides services to many of his friends and associates including Rosianne Cutajar.
With his squealing and terribly annoying voice, Edward Gatt has always struck me as someone who would go down an all fours for his master. He’s always given me the impression that he is the kind of sucker who would get cucked. I don’t know how he can pick up the confidence to win a case in court after this. He may very well become Keith Schembri’s butler, or maybe even something else to suit his fantasies.
