No National Security: even the Deputy-Prime Minister is not safe

I have no words to explain the anger and humiliation that I feel as my nation is bullied and abused by criminal degenerates or a group of retired-grifting army and intelligence personnel looking for their next big fraud. In addition to his regular and spectacular failures in particular cases, Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa couldn’t even defend and protect the Deputy-Prime Minister himself from a fraudulent smear campaign run by a group of foreign grifting intelligence-hacks.

Yet, Prime Minister Robert Abela re-appointed him as Police Commissioner because only he is available to protect corrupt Labour Party politicians with a straight-face.

Now, if the Deputy-Prime Minister is not safe, imagine how much even less concerned and bothered the Police would be with regards to a journalist or any other common citizen who is not the Deputy-Prime Minister. Basically, a fraudulent foreign intelligence company was allowed to run an amateurish disinformation campaign against one of Malta’s elected leaders, effectively interfering in our democracy. And to add insult to injury, the smear campaign was even funded by our own public money. There is no sign of the Malta Security Services who are busier taking care of Joseph Muscat (instead of ensuring that he faces justice).

It’s hard to admit an ugly truth, but it’s even harder to ignore a blatant reality that is staring at you in full view of the public. Our national security situation is a mess because we have a total clown of a Police Commissioner and a half-man half-child running the government like Supreme Leader. Total clown show.

If it wasn’t for the press, journalists and private investigators, we wouldn’t have known the full extent of the smear campaign conducted against Chris Fearne. We are at the stage where the press is literally filling the vacuum in our national security.

  1. We have become brain dead. Imagine if the Deputy Prime Minister in the UK stood up in Parliament, addressed the Speaker and asked that he take all steps to protect him and members of his family from thieves of the public purse and fraudsters connected to his party, whom he states without hesitation are capable of “going one further”…. and all you get on the BBC is a thirty second item on the matter, maybe twice during the day and then its back to the usual “good news” press conferences of the PM.

  2. By the way, Mark. You missed the irony of Fearne in 2024 seeking personal protection from a Speaker who once, as a over active police officer, arrested Daphne and others during a peaceful protest back some thirty five (?) years ago.

  3. […] was also the year when we discovered that a clique of grifting ex-intelligence officers conducted a disinformation campaign against the previous Deputy Prime Minister, Chris Fearne. Even on such a matter of national […]
