Tuareg rebels liquidate Wagner Group convoy in the Malian desert

Tuareg rebels have liquidated a Wagner Group convoy including a Russian helicopter and took one Wagner mercenary prisoner in Tinzaouaten, a town in the Malian desert near the Algerian border. The Tuareg rebels, who form part of the Permanent Strategic Framework for Peace, Security and Development, said that they engaged the Wagner Group convoy for attacking the town. The helicopter that was gunned down crashed in the nearby town of Kidal. An administrator of the Wagner Group Grey Zone channel on Telegram was also killed in the attack. The Wagner Group said it was ambushed.
