Reading the news headlines and statements by government ministers you get the impression that Malta is like a playground for little children run by idiots.
Labour ministers are so inexperienced and clueless that they don’t even have a governance perspective. They think of themselves as actors and public personalities whose main role is to entertain and reassure the people. They don’t do any actual governance at all, but when they do you can count on them making a mess.
In the absence of rule-of-law and proper enforcement, in order to fight human-trafficking and the exploitation of Third-Country nationals, the government puts off theatrical shows and nicely-worded reports.
Meanwhile, vulnerable working-class third-country nationals have once again become victims to the infantile behaviour of our government.
It’s like a school adventure for them where they do a school-projet with their friends.
It’s nauseating.
