Ship-to-shop oil transfers outside Maltese waters have spiked up following a crackdown by Greek authorities that pushed out Russian oil ship-to-sip transfers outside of its waters. Lately, I have recieved several reports of irregular oil transfers outside Malta including by a particular ship that was involved in an accident with another ship in Maltese waters late last month. The provenance of the oil could not be verified but final selling destinations include Egypt.
