Chris Siegersma says he is committed to keep running the prison

Chris Siegersma has published a statement on his Facebook profile in response to this article saying that he is still committed to keep serving as the prison’s CEO. He said the story about his replacement was based on speculation. It doesn’t sound very convincing.

The story is based on sources at Ministry of the Interior who informed me that a replacement for Chris Siegersma ws sought ever since the scandal about Svetlana Muscat broke out.

Colonel Etienne Scicluna, who currently serves as the prison’s Chief of Operations, also denied the story.

Chris Siegersma has fully delegated the prison’s operations to Colonel Etienne Scicluna with most of the prison officers reporting directly to him.

Makes perfect sense under Labour 2013 – 2024: why have one person doing the job, when you could have two Labour tit-suckers, both paid by the taxpayer?
