From Gibraltar to Madrid: I am a genius (and literal criminal) diplomat

What does a diplomat do if he’s about to be appointed Ambassador to Spain?
Naturally, he makes an official visit to Gibraltar – a region contested by Spain and under British control.

This is the perfect way to prepare for presenting yourself to the King of Spain. If Malta’s High Commissioner to the UK would like to really push the diplomatic envelope a bit further, I also advice him to visit Barcelona to meet with Catalan independist leaders, so that he may surely have a well-balanced, multi-cultural and diverse feedback from all the Spaniards before lodging himself in Madrid.

I’m a genius diplomat.

    Another opportunist and blood sucker attracted by JM’s moviment who never really harboured labourite or socialist sentiments. But as long as JM wanted him the simpletons intially elected him on the labour ticket. And bulls eye, JM instantly rewarded him with a full blown Minisitry while sidelining a stalwart like Hose’ Herrera. Today this overblown opportunist continues to pig out at the expense of the ever dwindling core of sincere and faithful Labourites.
