Following her failure in getting elected to the European Parliament, Marija Sara Vella Gafa is going home as she abandons her political activity. She has of course, a government paid salary for some useless job she does among the many other politically-appointed Labourites.
She also probably disagrees with the latest leadership set-up of the Labour Party as agreed by Robert Abela and Joseph Muscat but she is not going to talk about it. She needs to hedge her bets in case she decides to contest the election.
Self-interest first, slef-interest second, and if there is some space and time left, we’ll devote it to the public just so that we may say we have done some public good.
