Today, following the publication of this article, the Maltese Security Services read two articles about Chun Wang (Satofishi) from my website. They didn’t read all the articles, so allow me to make it easy for them.
Chun Wang has a South Korean Identity Card, but bought a Maltese passport last year. He is now making headlines for collaborating with SpaceX on a stratospheric mission to the North Pole.
Chun Wang runs the biggest bitcoin mining operation in Russia. Let me explain what this means. Nothing of this massive scale goes unchecked in Russia without the approval and direct supervision of the government and its security services, and Chun Wang is most probably laundering money for the Russian security srvices who make regular and ample use of bitcoin and crypto to pay their terrorists and supporters abroad.
As of recently, my online friend and crypto sleuth Truth Labs has discovered new connections with Chun Wang and Telegram (another Russian secret services operation).
Chun Wang also participated in the Plus Token Ponzi scheme which defrauded up to $2 billion mostly from Chinese citizens. This is also mostly the work of Truth Labs. Truth Labs also claims that Chun Wang has laundered money for Lazarus (the North Korean hacker group) but we still need to see the evidence for it (Truth Labs never failed to provide).
Seperatly, a Chinese whistleblower is claiming that Chun Wang has direct ties to the Russian security services.
The fact that this individual was granted a Maltese passport shows that there is no due diligence in Maltese passport sales and most probably there have been many more foreign individuals with ties to foreign and hostile security services who were given Maltese passports. This should raise serious alarm, apart from (and obviously) triggering the resignation of the Mnister of Home Affairs. Our national security is at stake.
