The Nationalist Party plays slow chess while Labour plays seppuku

Karl Gouder is contesting the post for Secretary-General of the Nationalist Party and if the Nationalist Party doesn’t wreck his chances, it will be another good move in its list of very slow, retarded and good moves it has been making lately.

Karl Gouder is by far more pragmatic and aware of the political and social reality of his country in contrast to other conservatives who would like to keep living in the past. Through him the Nationalist Party can try to appeal to the younger generations.

On the other hand, the Labour Party’s new administrative line-up will only attract Labour’s own demographic, with Alex Agius Saliba, literally attracting a demographic that is shrinking against time by age. The Nationalist Party is making the right and logical choices here but needs to keep up this momentum with these moves.
