Evarist Bartolo admits in public (again) that he is being paid by foreign dictatorships to speak out against Malta’s foreign policy

Following the publication of this article, where I published Evarist Bartolo’s admission that he is on the payroll of foreign dictatorships to speak out against Malta’s foreign policy, Bartolo issued a statement in which he made a similar admission.

His excuse? His sponsors don’t tell him what to say.

Pathetic. His sponsors pay him because they know he will speak out against Malta’s foreign policy, against the West and in favour of their own foreign policy. He is basically promoting the worldview of “multipolarism” which rejects the international order of rule-of-law in favour of a world where dictatorships are out of reach of the international laws. Basically, he is promoting China’s foreign policy whilst attacking Malta’s.

He also has no qualifications in diplomacy whatsoever. The fact that he anointed himself as a self-proclaimed expert in diplomacy while being paid by foreign dictatorships to speak out against Malta’s foreign policy speaks volumes. This also means that Malta is extremely vulnerable to disinformation and subversive campaigns by foreign dictatorships because dictartorial states like China are ready to prop up any Tom, Dick and Harry in Malta who is ready to speak out against Malta’s foreign policy and in favour of China’s interests. This is a serious national security issue, and Evarist Bartolo should be treated as a threat to national security.

Evarist Bartolo is going to extreme lengths to justify his treacherous grift. In the futurue, he will serve as a textbook case of local political treachery that needs to be checked by laws that protect Malta’s national security. Evarist Bartolo has become an agent of foreign states and as a politician who swore an allegiance to the State, his behaviour is anti-constitutional.

It is highly probable that the Chinese government financed this trip, given that the Labour Party never spent money on such exotic excursions during my time there. Another Labour Party figure who received a paid trip from the Chinese government was Evarist Bartolo. […]
