Syrian military sources confirm with Saudi media that Maher al-Assad’s villa was bombed, but deny he was injured

Syrian military sources speaking to Al-Hadath, a Saudi news channel have confirmed that Maher al-Assad’s villa was bombed by the Israeli Defence Force but denied he was injured in the attack.

The villa in Yaffour in the outskirts of Damascus owned by Maher al-Assad was bombed y the IDF during the weekend. His 4th Armoured Division is connected to Hezbollah and the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Various cities across Syria including Idlib have been celebrating his rumoured death.

There are yet no other reports confirming whether he is dead or alive.
