The Labour Party’s Deputy-Leader Alex Saliba announced that he is in Strasbourg for another day of “work”. I wonder how does that work for the Labour Party with its Deputy Leader mostly abroad in Brussels and sometimes in Strasbourg. The Strasbourg trips are already very time-consuming, so I suppose he is doing a lot of political campaigning by Zoom now.
Hilarious.
Most of my contacts so far have told me that his deputy-leadership has been mostly uneventful. This is good for Robert Abela as he has one of his opponents and Joseph Muscat’s allies at bay, but it’s bad for the Labour Party that currently needs a lot of work to change, from basically, a criminal organisation into a conventional political party.
It’s only shambles and more shambles for the Labour Party.
