Palestinian journalist from Gaza, Fadi al-Wahidi was shot to the neck and paralysed by the Israeli Defence Forces while covering the Israeli bombing of Jabalia. The IDF is currently bombing and shelling northern Gaza where it is currently operating. Fadi al-Wahidi, a cameraman for Al-Jazeera, was covering the shooting by the IDF, which was also reported to have targeted civilians attempting to flee the area.
This is the second shooting of a Palestinian journalist in Gaza this week by the IDF following the shooting of Ali al-Attar.
More than 60 Palestinian journalists have been killed by the IDF since the Israeli invasion of Gaza.
