We’ve received updates from various sources regarding the police investigation of Svetlana Muscat. Two sources independent from each other confirmed with us that the Attorney General issued instructions to arraign Svetlana Muscat on criminal charges, but the investigation was closed by the police under the direction of Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa.
We can also confirm that Svetlana Muscat enjoys a close relationship with Prime Minister Robert Abela.
Svetlana Muscat, a former prison official, was investigated for brokering a meeting between Yorgen Fenech and a gas distributor in her prison office. She is now employed at the National Skills Council of the Ministry of Education.
On the same day this news is being published, Prime Minister Robert Abela is defending Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa.
