The Maltese philosopher and translator Kevin Saliba has been awarded an honorary award by his hometown’s Local Council of Fgura. Kevin Saliba was a professional Maltese translator who worked with European Union institutions before embarking on a freelance journey that led him to translate major French literary and philosophical works into Maltese, including those by Georges Bataille, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Maurice Blanchot.
Kevin Saliba is also known for his strong grasp of the Maltese language and is one of the most refined writers of the Maltese language.
