We are currently continuing our investigation about the Labour Party’s moles in the Nationalist Party and our attention has fallen on Alex Borg, who in the past, had shown cozy relationships with the Labour Party. Alex Borg even lied about the Fort Chambray government concessions, bizarrely defending a very irregular and highly suspicious transfer of government land to private developers.
Yesterday, we received a tip informing us that Alex Borg is having confidential meetings with the Minister of Gozo Clint Camilleri. So far, we do not know the nature of these meetings, but we do know that some Gozitan residents do not trust Alex Borg with their complaints about the government fearing he would out them out to the Minister.
On the other hand, Alex Borg did call for the resignation of Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri in a press conference with Claudette Buttigieg and Mario de Marco over the fraudulent contract handed to Amanda Muscat, but he is not pushing the matter single-handedly. We would prefer to see him being more enthusiastic and more assertive about his demand for the resignation of Clint Camilleri. Maybe, he should give a speech in Parliament and even present a private motion to ensure and convince us he has no ties or obligations to the Minister of Gozo.
