Taxi fares doubled yesterday as the Sigma event coincided with a bout of bad weather. Roads in the south of Malta, starting from Marsa and Aldo Moro Road, were clogged with traffic until late in the evening, delaying anyone who was caught in the traffic.
According to the organisers’ official figures, an estimated 27,000 people are attending the event at the former Marsa shipbuilding site, with the event continuing until tomorrow evening.
