A 34-year-old man from Ħal Għaxaq was hospitalised following a traffic accident that occurred on Thursday at approximately 9:45 am in Żabbar Road, Fgura.
Preliminary police investigations revealed that the incident involved a collision between a Honda motorcycle, driven by the victim, and a Ford Transit van driven by a 63-year-old resident of Birkirkara.
Emergency medical teams quickly arrived at the scene to assist the injured motorcyclist, who was then transported by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital for further medical care. Hospital authorities later confirmed that the motorcyclist had sustained serious injuries.
Police investigations into the circumstances of the accident are ongoing.
