Yesterday, following the Vitals and Steward court sessions, which saw Joseph Muscat in court, the Labour Party’s official news broadcast, edited by Josef Caruana, replicated Muscat’s arguments and presented them as fact. During the court session, Muscat’s lawyer, Vince Galea, attacked renowned financial analyst and investigator Miroslava Milenovic by attempting to downplay her qualifications during her testimony.
Miroslava Milenovic has worked on various high-profile investigations, including the Egrant investigation, which concluded that there was no evidence of Joseph Muscat’s ownership of the Panama company. Joseph Muscat praised her work.
Josef Caruana is a known fascist grifter who was fired from the Union Press after working as the editor for the failed General Workers’ Union daily newspaper, L-Orizzont. He was fired for repeatedly publishing racist articles, attacking journalists and mysogeny. The Union Press and its rags are mostly funded by government subsidies. Josef Caruana also worked at the Office of the Prime Minister during Joseph Muscat’s premiership.
Today, the mainstream press quoted Jason Micallef, who is currently barred from appearing on ONE, as saying that Joseph Muscat will return to the Labour Party. The comments are also intended as a direct challenge to Prime Minister Robert Abela.
