One of the latest, obvious and most explicit actions that is clear for all to see of the Labour Party leader with regard to Joseph Muscat’s faction is their banishment of Joseph Muscat’s faction from the Labour Party official TV channel, ONE.
The only and last remaining media outlets that are giving regular air-time and coverage to Joseph Muscat’s faction are Smash TV and Lovin Malta (Cartoon Network).
Jason Micallef is up in arms against this decision and is constantly sending messages to Labour Party delegates to protest this decision, but most of the delegates are not reciprocating to him. Following the elections of the Labour Party’s executive, Robert Abela has actually tightened his control and influence over the party, but not to any of his merit. What’s actually happening inside Labour right now is that many delegates are starting to get Joseph Muscat fatigue and they want to move on by focusing on government work and public policies instead of dealing with Joseph Muscat, his friends and their antics.
Jason Micallef is gradually being sidelined into irrelevance, like all of Joseph Muscat’s other associates, including Neville Gafa.
