President Trump is already causing a stir with his cabinet and institutional picks with various Republicans vowing to vote against some of his nominations. Kevin McCarthy has pledged to vote against the nominee of Matt Gaetz as Attorney-General, while others have oppiosed the nomination of anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy as Health Secretary. Trump is threatening his objectors by takin the House of Representatives into “recess” so that he may be able to to appoint his nominees without Congressional approval.
