Elderly man seriously injured after early morning traffic accident in Bormla

A 71 year old from Bormla suffered serious injuries after an accident this morning.

The accident happened around 6:15 am on Triq San Ġwann t’Għuxa, Bormla.

Police investigations so far have revealed that the man was hit by a Kia Picanto driven by a 43 year old woman from San Pawl il-Baħar.

Emergency services assisted the injured man who was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was found to be seriously injured upon arrival.

Police investigations are ongoing.
