In order to add to his list of truly dystopian measures, after censoring educators with a circular that reads like something that has come straight out of Communist East Germany, the Ministry of Education has now ramped up surveillance of its educators via their laptops.
The Malta Union of Teachers sent a notice to the Ministry of Education informing it that restrictions installed by the Ministry of Education on teachers’ laptops is making their work difficult. Minister for Education Clifton Grima is treating educators like children, or maybe, he feels entitled to do whatever he pleases with them after scrapping together a collective agreement.
