Revealed: The Maltese man involved in a car crash in France that killed three people

The Maltese Herald can confirm that the man who was involved in a car crash in France that killed three people, a mother and her two sons, is Patrick Sammut.

Patrick Sammut was driving a car from the UK to Malta for Christian Borg, a task he regularly performed. He also struggled with a cocaine addiction and was paid generously each time he delivered a car to Malta for Christian Borg. Patrick Sammut, from Qormi, was also a car dealer himself.

Patrick Sammut is currently being detained by the French police.

  1. Would it be far fetched to assume, given that he is allegedly paid generously by Christian Borg and is allegedly a coke addict, that he has been bring more than just cars from UK to Malta ?

  2. If this happened in Malta he would probably get only a suspended sentence thanks to his friend Christian Borg and his lawyer Franco debono ‘greasing’ the judges
