Traffic collision in Marsa leaves motorcyclist seriously injured

This morning around 9:30 am, police were informed of an accident that took place on Aldo Moro Road in Marsa.

From preliminary investigation, it was established that the collision involved a 68-year-old man from Siġġiewi who was driving a Ford Fiesta and a 56-year-old man from St. Paul’s Bay who was driving a Honda NSS motorcycle.

Medical help was promptly rendered and the motorcyclist needed to be transported by an ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital. Later reports indicated that he had been seriously injured.

The police investigations concerning the case are ongoing.
