Israel has continued with its ethnic cleansing of north Gaza by bombing two hospitals during the past twenty-four hospitals: the Kamal Adwan Hospital and the Al-Awda Hospital. The IDF is forcing the population of north Gaza to evacuate on a permanent basis as Israel constructs its military administration there. The Ministry of Health of Gaza issued its latest death toll figures reporting 44,502 dead and 105,454 wounded.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Defence Forces have continued with their offensive against Palestinian armed groups in the West Bank, capturing towns and demolishing houses on this pretext. Clashes and IDF activity were reported in Arabuna, Ya’bad, Qalqilya, Tubas, Nablus, Kafr Qallil, Betlehem, Zawiya, Deir Abu Mash’al and Al-Fawar Camp.
Hamas was unmoved by President-elect’s threat to release the remaining hostages and blamed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for failure to achieve a hostage-release deal. Hamas said that it supports the implementation of the Security Council Resolution 2735, and the deal struck on July 2, 2024 which includes a provision for the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, effectively ensuring that Hamas remains in power.
