Jason Azzopardi is to be charged with contempt of Court for recording and publishing a video at the Law Courts

Jason Azzopardi is to be charged with contempt of Court after recording and publishing a video of the Prime Minister walking in the corridor of the the Courts of Law building.

It is illegal to take any photo or video recordings in the Courts building, and the law is meant to protect the privacy of individuals.

Personally, and many other editors and journalists feel that these laws are too strict and in many cases even senseless, especially since Court proceedings have to be documented in writing.
